Privacy Policy
This page serves both as the support page and the privacy policy for PromptPilot. The specific browser permissions are additionally described in the Chrome Web Store listing.
What data the extension processes
PromptPilot processes only text that users actively enter into the extension or that is selected in an active tab. Processing is done locally via Chrome's Gemini Nano API.
How this data is processed
Input text is passed to Chrome's local LanguageModel API and processed directly on the device. No data is transmitted to external servers. No content is permanently stored.
Transfer to third parties
No user data or prompt content is transmitted to the developer's own servers or to any third parties. PromptPilot does not establish connections to any external services.
Website content and active tabs
On explicit user action, the extension can import selected text from a webpage. There is no automatic access to browsing history, no background analysis of websites, and no user profiling.
Support requests
If you send a support request by email or through the contact form, the information you provide is used solely to handle your request.
Cookies, tracking, and advertising
The extension itself uses no tracking, no analytics software, and no advertising. This support page uses no cookies and no user accounts.
